The 2012 ibc model building code contains size limits for vision panels in a 60 or 90 minute door.

2012 ibc clarifies that if a vision panel in a 60 or 90 minute door is over the size limit of 100 sq inches the fire rated glass must be fire resistive. Our standard single glazed vision panels are all made with 6 38mm laminate. Hardwood beads can be finished to match the door facing and are generally pin fixed punched and filled. If you require a thicker glass for acoustic or security please contact our team to find a solution that will best suit. Standard vision panels will suit doors from 32 45mm in thickness.

Our vision panel doors can be manufactured with flush grooved or pressed panel finish and are available in moisture resistant mr particle board solid core. Glazed vision panels are offered under the ifc certification scheme.
